It was announced today that Diamond Electric Signs & Lighting turned in the lowest bid for Lake Sumter Community College’s Digital Marquee Signs Project #0018.

As per the college’s award process, the three lowest bids, as announced and posted on LSCC’s Web site, will have the opportunity to display their product for final consideration and decision at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10. Final selection will be based on lowest bid and observed appearance as determined by the college. However, the college reserves the right to select any one of the three final competitors based on appearance or other issues even if the selected product is not the lowest bid submitted.

Bid selection was based on a red style digital sign. Companies with product capabilities beyond the basic red design but within the bid amount provided may present either red or multicolor. Companies must be prepared to answer questions and briefly describe their product to selection committee members.

The display area will be located in the parking area just outside the Director of Facilities office. Event is expected to last no longer than one hour.
